Pink peppercorns from Club del Gourmet bring a subtle floral sweetness and gentle heat to your kitchen. These rose-hued berries are not true peppercorns but the dried fruit of the Peruvian pepper tree—prized for their delicate crunch and fruity, almost citrus-like finish. A staple of fine dining, they elevate simple dishes with understated elegance.

About this product

Club del Gourmet, sources pink peppercorns for their distinctive flavor profile and visual appeal. Unlike black or white pepper's aggressive bite, pink peppercorns whisper rather than shout, making them ideal for finishing dishes where the spice should complement rather than dominate. Each 32-gram jar ensures freshness and potency across multiple uses.

How to enjoy

  • Crush lightly and scatter over butter-poached fish, halibut, or sole.
  • Grind into a cream sauce for beef tenderloin or duck breast.
  • Sprinkle whole onto fresh goat cheese with honey and toasted bread.
  • Mix into a peppercorn blend for a milder, more nuanced pepper mill.
  • Finish a duck or foie gras terrine for a gentle floral pop.

⭐ Why we love this

Club del Gourmet's pink peppercorns embody Spanish fine dining philosophy—restraint and refinement over bold dominance. Their floral sweetness and citrus finish make them indispensable in alta cocina kitchens across Spain, where they're used to add sophistication without overwhelming delicate proteins.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Perfect alongside a crisp Albariño or Rías Baixas white wine when finishing raw seafood or ceviche. Equally striking sprinkled over creamy manchego or paired with a glass of dry Fino sherry at aperitif time, especially with jamón ibérico or cured fish.

📍 From Spain

While pink peppercorns originate from Peru, their inclusion in Club del Gourmet reflects Spain's commitment to the finest gourmet products, trusted by Spain's top chefs and home cooks alike.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
