Utopick brings together two of Spain's most fragrant citrus traditions in a single chocolate bar: blood orange from the groves of eastern Spain and delicate orange blossom, the floral note that defines Seville and the entire Mediterranean coast. The milk chocolate base is smooth and approachable, allowing the bright citrus notes and subtle floral whisper to shine without overwhelming the palate.

About this product

Each 80-gram tablet combines ripe blood orange with the distinctly Spanish accent of azahar — orange blossom flower — a flavour that appears in traditional Spanish pastries, perfumes, and liqueurs. The milk chocolate medium ensures accessibility without sacrificing the complexity these ingredients deserve. Each piece melts cleanly, releasing the citrus aroma before the flavour develops on the tongue.

How to enjoy

  • Snap a square after dinner with a small glass of brandy or sweet sherry.
  • Melt gently over warm churros for an indulgent dipping sauce.
  • Pair with fresh coffee in the afternoon — the citrus cuts through richness beautifully.
  • Gift to anyone who loves Spanish flavours and artisan chocolate.

⭐ Why we love this

Utopick captures the essence of Spanish Mediterranean coast in chocolate form — blood orange and azahar (orange blossom) are not trendy flavours here, but deeply rooted in Spanish confectionery and gastronomy. This is authentic regional taste, not reinvention.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Serve after dinner with a glass of Pedro Ximénez sherry or a dry Fino — the wine's subtle sweetness and nuttiness won't compete with the chocolate's citrus brightness. Alternatively, enjoy alongside strong espresso, where the citrus notes cut through the coffee's bitterness perfectly.

📍 From Spain

This chocolate celebrates two of Spain's greatest regions: the blood oranges come from the fertile groves of Valencia and Andalusia, while orange blossom (azahar) is a signature of Seville and the entire Mediterranean coast, where it has perfumed Spanish cooking and perfumery for centuries. Utopick's dedication to these distinctly Spanish ingredients keeps production rooted in Spanish tradition.

Customer Reviews

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
