Trias has been crafting Spanish cookies since 1911, and this assorted tin is a snapshot of that tradition. The mosaic tin holds a carefully selected mix of butter cookies, shortbread, and filled varieties — each one baked to the same exacting standard that made Trias a staple of Spanish pantries and gift boxes for over a century.

About this product

The assortment changes seasonally, but always includes the house signature cookies: delicate, crisp rounds of butter shortbread, some dusted with sugar, others studded with chocolate or filled with dulce de leche or fruit preserves. The tin itself is iconic — the mosaic pattern is instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up reaching for a Trias biscuit at teatime or in the afternoon break. Baked fresh and sealed in the decorative tin, these cookies stay crisp for weeks.

How to enjoy

  • Serve with Spanish hot chocolate (thick and rich, as it should be) for a proper merienda.
  • Pack in a bag for travel — the tin is sturdy and the selection travels well.
  • Pair with coffee or tea throughout the day.
  • Keep on hand as an elegant gift or edible souvenir from Spain.

⭐ Why we love this

Trias is the gold standard of Spanish cookies—a 113-year legacy of buttery perfection that defined the merienda (Spanish afternoon tea) for generations. This mosaic tin captures the essence of authentic Spanish baking: each cookie is deliberately simple yet expertly crafted, with no shortcuts, making it a genuine taste of Spanish culinary tradition.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Dunk these cookies into thick, hot Spanish chocolate (like Valor or Solara) for the quintessential merienda experience, or pair with a strong cortado coffee mid-afternoon. For something lighter, serve alongside a crisp Albariño wine at the end of a Spanish meal.

📍 From Spain

Trias hails from Catalonia, Spain's heartland of pastry excellence, where the brand has perfected its craft since 1911. The mosaic tin design itself has become iconic throughout Spain—instantly recognizable in homes, cafés, and gift shops across the country as a symbol of Spanish baking heritage.

Customer Reviews

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
