Rosa Lafuente Sardinillas, Spanish Canned Sardines, Pack of 2 (2 × 84g)

Rosa Lafuente's sardinillas are whole, delicate Spanish sardines packed at their peak. At 42 pieces in a single 84-gram tin, these are small enough to eat whole—backbone, tail, and all—offering the nutty, mineral sweetness that makes Spanish tinned sardines a kitchen staple from Barcelona to Seville.

About this product

Rosa Lafuente has specialized in canned seafood from the Spanish coast for generations. Each tin contains sardines carefully selected for size and texture, preserved in their own oils and natural juices. The small format makes them ideal for those who prefer delicate fish with minimal processing—no heavy sauces, no fillets separated from their skeletons, just whole sardines as they come from the water.

How to enjoy

• Serve straight from the tin on toasted bread with a squeeze of lemon and fleur de sel.
• Toss into a tomato and white bean salad for substance and umami.
• Layer into a composed plate with marinated white onion, roasted red pepper, and a drizzle of aged sherry vinegar.
• Add to a simple pasta aglio e olio in the last minute—the sardines warm through gently without breaking apart.

⭐ Why we love this

Rosa Lafuente sardinillas represent the Spanish canning tradition at its purest—whole fish preserved at peak freshness without compromise. The ability to eat them entirely, from delicate backbone to tail, speaks to the quality of catch and minimal processing that Spanish coastal communities have perfected over generations.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Open these alongside a crisp Albariño from Rías Baixas or a chilled Fino sherry for an instant tapa that needs no further preparation. They're equally at home on a composed plate with pickled onions and roasted peppers, or stirred into a simple tomato pasta for authentic Spanish-coastal flavors.

📍 From Spain

Rosa Lafuente sources from Spain's Atlantic fishing grounds, where the cold waters produce sardines of exceptional delicacy and mineral character. This Galician-rooted brand carries four generations of expertise in selecting and preserving the smallest, most tender specimens—the mark of true sardinilla craftsmanship.
