Reserva Gourmet Estilo Kikí Fried Tomato Sauce, Spanish 350g

Reserva Gourmet's fried tomato sauce captures the soul of the Spanish kitchen in a single jar. This isn't ketchup or pasta sauce — it's the foundational condiment that generations of Spanish home cooks have relied on to build flavor quickly. Rich, naturally sweet tomatoes, fried gently in olive oil, deliver the kind of depth you'd expect from hours of simmering, but ready in seconds.

About this product

Made in the Spanish tradition, this 350-gram jar contains tomatoes selected for their ripeness and acidity balance, then slowly fried in olive oil to concentrate their natural sugars and develop a subtle caramelized note. The result is a sauce that works as a base for countless dishes, from eggs and croquetas to rice and seafood stews. The glass jar preserves freshness and flavor without the need for preservatives.

How to enjoy

• Stir a spoonful into scrambled eggs or tortilla española for instant depth.
• Use as the base for a pan of gambas al ajillo or sautéed mushrooms.
• Warm gently and serve alongside croquetas or empanadas as a dipping sauce.
• Add to rice dishes, bean stews, or chicken braises in the final minutes of cooking.
• Spread thinly on toast with jamón or aged Manchego for a quick tapa.

⭐ Why we love this

This is the sauce Spanish home cooks have been making for generations—tomatoes fried slowly in olive oil until their natural sugars concentrate into something richer than the sum of its parts. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, Reserva Gourmet respects the ingredient and the method, delivering authentic depth that transforms everyday dishes into something memorable.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Serve warm alongside crispy croquetas with a glass of dry Fino sherry, or use as a base for gambas al ajillo paired with a crisp Albariño from Rías Baixas. It's equally at home on toast with jamón Ibérico and a glass of light red Tempranillo during aperitivo hour.

📍 From Spain

Reserva Gourmet sources premium tomatoes from Spain's finest growing regions, then applies the slow-frying technique perfected across Spanish kitchens for generations. This careful approach ensures each jar captures the authentic flavor profile that has made fried tomato sauce—not ketchup, not pasta sauce—the backbone of Spanish home cooking.
