Pepina Pastel's milk chocolate turrón studded with crunchy Gublins biscuit pieces is a modern take on Spain's oldest confection. Soft nougat, creamy chocolate, and toasted biscuit crumble meet in a single bar—substantial enough to share, refined enough to keep for yourself.

About this product

This turrón layers milk chocolate with fluffy nougat and fragments of Pepina Pastel's signature Gublins biscuits, creating a textural contrast that moves from creamy to crisp. Unlike harder, honey-forward turrón varieties, this version is approachable and indulgent, designed for chocolate lovers and those new to Spanish nougat alike. Crafted in Spain and wrapped in foil to preserve freshness.

How to enjoy

  • Slice and serve at room temperature with Spanish coffee or hot chocolate.
  • Break into pieces for a dessert plate alongside fresh fruit.
  • Gift it whole during the holiday season—turrón is a cherished year-round treat in Spain.
  • Pair with a glass of sweet wine or sherry for an evening indulgence.

⭐ Why we love this

Pepina Pastel bridges centuries of Spanish turrón tradition with contemporary indulgence—the Gublins biscuit fragments add a playful crunch that honors Spain's beloved merienda culture while the creamy nougat and milk chocolate make it instantly gratifying. This is turrón for modern palates, without abandoning authenticity.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Pair with a glass of Pedro Ximénez sherry or a sweet Moscatel from southern Spain—the dark sweetness cuts through the chocolate richness beautifully. Alternatively, enjoy with strong Spanish coffee (café con leche) in the afternoon, a cherished Spanish ritual known as la merienda.

📍 From Spain

Crafted by Pepina Pastel, a celebrated Spanish confectioner rooted in Spanish pastry tradition, this turrón is made in Spain using time-honored nougat techniques. The marriage of premium milk chocolate with signature Gublins biscuits reflects Spain's mastery of layered, textural confectionery.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
