Ora et Labora's jasmine gelatin is a delicate preserve that captures the floral essence of jasmine blossoms in a silky, jewel-like spread. Made with care in Spain, this 300-gram jar offers a refined alternative to traditional fruit jams—ideal for those who appreciate subtle botanical flavors and elegant simplicity.

About this product

This extra-grade gelatin is crafted to showcase jasmine's naturally sweet, aromatic character. The smooth texture spreads easily and dissolves gently on the palate, making it equally at home on morning toast, swirled into Greek yogurt, or spooned alongside soft cheese at the end of a meal. The preserve requires no artificial flavoring—just jasmine, sugar, and the skill of Spanish jam-makers.

How to enjoy

  • Spread on warm toast or fresh croissants for a fragrant breakfast
  • Swirl into thick yogurt or crème fraîche for dessert
  • Pair with mild cheeses such as ricotta or fresh chèvre
  • Use as a glaze for roasted stone fruits or vanilla ice cream

⭐ Why we love this

Ora et Labora's jasmine gelatin represents a distinctly Spanish approach to preserve-making—elevating humble ingredients through craftsmanship rather than excess. This is artisanal simplicity: no pectin shortcuts, no flavor concentrates, just jasmine blossoms transformed into silk by masters of the craft.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Serve alongside a glass of chilled Albariño or a delicate Moscato to amplify the floral notes, or pair with creamy Spanish quesos like Queso de Burgos. At the table's end, it's exceptional with Sherry—a few spoonfuls with aged Fino creates an unexpectedly sophisticated moment.

📍 From Spain

Ora et Labora is rooted in Spanish tradition, where botanical preserves hold a place in regional cuisine often overlooked beyond Spain's borders. This gelatin carries the precision of Spanish jam-making heritage, where flowers and herbs have been preserved for centuries in kitchens and convents across the peninsula.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
