Olíquida Green Olive & Piparra Sauce, Spanish, Pack of 2 (2 × 100g)

Olíquida's green olive and piparra sauce brings the bright, peppery character of Basque cuisine to any plate. Green olives and guindilla peppers — known locally as piparras for their subtle heat and grassy sweetness — are blended into a smooth, spoonable sauce that feels both rustic and refined. This is the kind of condiment that Spanish tables keep within arm's reach: a jar that transforms simple ingredients into something memorable.

⭐ Why we love this

This is Basque kitchen wisdom in a jar—piparras and green olives are foundational to Northern Spanish cuisine, and Olíquida captures their essential character without unnecessary additions. The sauce respects the ingredient, letting the peppery bite and subtle brininess speak, making it a genuine expression of how Spanish cooks actually season their tables.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Serve alongside grilled merluza (hake) with a crisp Txakoli from the Basque Country, or pair with aged Idiazabal cheese and a glass of chilled Albariño. The piparra's gentle heat and herbaceous edge also complements jamón ibérico beautifully at a traditional Spanish tapas gathering.
