Nutnut's freeze-dried strawberries are a light, crisp way to enjoy the flavour of Spanish berries year-round. Each piece retains the natural sweetness of fresh fruit without added sugar, making them a straightforward snack for anyone seeking a fruit-forward bite without the heaviness of fresh berries or overly sweetened alternatives.

About this product

Freeze-drying preserves the strawberry's cellular structure, intensifying flavour while reducing moisture. The result is a delicate, crunchy texture that dissolves on the tongue. Nutnut sources and processes these strawberries to capture that bright, slightly tart character of ripe berries. They contain no artificial flavourings or preservatives—just strawberries and the freeze-dry process.

How to enjoy

  • Eat by the handful as a desk-side snack or afternoon pick-me-up
  • Crumble over Greek yoghurt or morning porridge for texture and flavour
  • Mix into trail mixes with nuts and dark chocolate chips
  • Rehydrate briefly in water or juice for a quick berry compote

⭐ Why we love this

Nutnut captures the essence of Spain's prized strawberry harvests—particularly from Huelva, one of Europe's premier berry regions—in their purest, most concentrated form. Freeze-drying preserves the berry's vibrant character without added sugars, honouring the Spanish tradition of letting quality ingredients speak for themselves.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Pair these with a glass of chilled Cava for an elegant afternoon snack, or scatter over creamy Manchego cheese for a modern take on Spanish cheese and fruit. They're also perfect alongside strong Spanish coffee or as a bright garnish for txakoli during a relaxed tapas session.

📍 From Spain

Sourced from Spain's premier strawberry-growing regions, Nutnut works with growers across southern Spain—particularly Huelva, which produces over 60% of Europe's strawberries. This freeze-dried selection represents the best of the Spanish harvest, processed locally to lock in peak ripeness and flavour.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
