Moscovitas de Rialto celebrates four decades of excellence with this special-edition assortment of almond pastries from Club del Gourmet. Each box contains three varieties, each enrobed in a different chocolate coating — a tasting journey that honours the brand's legacy of careful confectionery craft.

About this product

These are tender almond-based pastries, not dense marzipan but something more delicate: a crumbly, buttery structure that melts on the tongue. The three chocolate coatings — likely dark, milk, and perhaps a contrasting white — complement rather than mask the subtle nuttiness of the almond base. Ideal for gift-giving or as a refined accompaniment to afternoon coffee.

How to enjoy

  • Pair with café con leche or Spanish coffee after dinner.
  • Serve on a ceramic plate alongside sherry or vermouth.
  • Gift to a Spanish food enthusiast; the 40th-anniversary packaging makes it a keepsake.
  • Enjoy one or two at a time to savour the chocolate-almond interplay.

⭐ Why we love this

Moscovitas de Rialto's 40-year mastery lies in restraint: these pastries let almonds speak rather than drowning them in sugar. The tri-chocolate presentation honours Spanish confectionery tradition where quality cocoa and nut elegance define prestige sweets, making this anniversary edition a genuine collector's piece.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Serve with a glass of amontillado or a rich café con leche—the pastries' buttery crumb and delicate almond heart need no competition. Perfect for an Spanish afternoon merienda or paired with a generous measure of Pedro Ximénez for dessert.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
