Haruka Round Grain Rice, Spanish Short Grain 1kg

Haruka round grain rice is a versatile Spanish staple for everyday meals and special paellas alike. The medium-sized grains hold their shape through cooking while absorbing flavours cleanly, making it equally at home in a creamy risotto or a traditional pan of saffron-scented rice.

About this product

This 1-kilogram bag offers reliable, consistent quality for the kitchen that cooks rice regularly. Round grain rice (arroz redondo) is the workhorse of Spanish home cooking—less delicate than bomba or arborio, but sturdy enough to pair with almost any dish, from seafood stews to vegetable medleys. The grains remain separate and slightly tender after cooking, absorbing stock or sauce without becoming mushy.

How to enjoy

• Cook in saffron-infused broth for a classic paella or arroz amarillo
• Use in creamy rice dishes or Spanish-style risotto with mushrooms and white wine
• Combine with shellfish, tomato, and paprika for an arroz a banda
• Pair with roasted vegetables and chicken for a simple weeknight dinner
• Mix into cold rice salads with olives, peppers, and vinaigrette
