Felisa Gourmet's sardines in vinegar start with careful selection of the finest specimens, then move into the hands of their preparation team. Each fish is hand-cleaned and filleted with a knife before being marinated in a traditional vinegar blend—a method that has changed little in decades.

These are Spanish sardines preserved the old way: in vinegar and a touch of extra virgin olive oil. The result is bright, slightly tangy, and naturally preserved. The hand-filleting means no small bones or rough edges; just clean, tender fillets ready to eat.

How to enjoy

  • Straight from the tin on dark rye bread with a pinch of fleur de sel.
  • Toss into a simple green salad with boiled potatoes and a sherry vinaigrette.
  • Layer into a Spanish sandwich (bocadillo) with roasted red pepper and onion.
  • Serve as part of a seafood tapa board with cured cheese and olives.

Shipping & guarantee

Free worldwide shipping from Spain with tracking. Duties and customs charges are included, so there are no unexpected import costs. If a local carrier nevertheless requires an import payment, send us the official payment request or receipt and we'll reimburse the eligible charge.

Your parcel is handed over against a signature — that is what keeps it secure on the way from Spain. If nobody is home, the carrier leaves a notice; at rural addresses this can mean collecting the parcel from your local post office.

Freshness & money-back guarantee: If your order arrives damaged, past its best, or not as described, we'll refund or replace it.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
