Castellers Trias has been crafting distinctive biscuits in Catalonia since 1904, and this assorted tin brings together their most beloved varieties in one convenient package. A 175-gram selection of Spanish cookies with character — neither too sweet nor too plain — that pair as naturally with afternoon coffee as they do with a glass of vermouth at aperitif hour.

About this product

This mixed selection showcases the baker's range: buttery shortbread, lightly sweetened wafers, and sturdy whole-grain biscuits designed to hold up in dunking. Each variety is baked to a gentle crunch that yields without crumbling, a hallmark of traditional Catalan biscuit-making. No artificial flavors or overly processed ingredients — just time-honored recipes refined across generations.

How to enjoy

  • Dunked in hot coffee or chocolate for breakfast, Iberian style
  • Paired with a wedge of manchego or fresh quince paste for a simple dessert
  • Layered with cream and jam for an impromptu merienda
  • Offered with tea or vermouth at evening gatherings

⭐ Why we love this

Castellers Trias represents a rare breed of biscuit-maker that refuses to chase sugar trends — their restrained sweetness and technical precision (notice how they hold their structure when dunked) reflects the Catalan philosophy that a good biscuit should complement, not dominate. A 120-year heritage in every bite.

🍷 Pairing suggestion

Dunking into a large café con leche is the obvious Catalan ritual, but these biscuits also shine alongside a chilled glass of dry Cava or vermouth, where their gentle sweetness cuts through the aperitif's edge without competing. Perfect for a casual merienda with manchego and membrillo.

📍 From Spain

Castellers Trias has been baking in Catalonia since 1904, rooted in a region with deep biscuit traditions where technique and ingredient restraint are prized over novelty. Their assorted tin continues that legacy of understated excellence that defines Catalan confectionery.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5 / 5 from 1 reviews.

The USPS required a signature on the delivery. This was unknown to me. I had to drive 30+ mile to retrieve the item, vice delivery to my address.

Finca La Rosala Marcona Almonds with Rosemary – Roasted Spanish Snack – Pack of 2 (2 × 90g)

Store owner replied: Thank you for the five stars, James, and I'm sorry about that drive. Our parcels travel as tracked international post with Correos in Spain, and USPS takes over for delivery in the US. We don't ask for a signature when we post, but it turns out USPS releases these parcels against one. At most addresses that just means signing at the door; in your case the delivery didn't go through, so USPS held it at the nearest post office, and that cost you a long trip. The surprise is partly on us, so we're adding a clear line about it to our shipping information. We can't give you back the time, but to cover the fuel we'd like to offer you $15 off anything in the shop on your next order. - Mateo, Iberian Direct
